Merry Christmas From the DH Fam!
Sleigh bells ring and we're all ears. We hope you're reading this with something festive (and spiked) in hand, whether or not your dreams of a white Christmas have been manifested.
From our family to yours, we want to wish you the merriest of Christmases, surrounded by loved ones and, if you're lucky, puppies. No matter what you celebrate, the spirit of the season remains the same for all of us: joy, gratitude, happiness, giving, lots of food, tons of wine, family time.
'Tis the season! 🎄☃️✨🎁🎊🎅
On this 25th of December, we'd like to take the time to reminisce on the year's favorite moments, because it's always good to look back before looking forward. To help you get to know us better, we asked members of our team to recount one of their favorite occurrences of the year, whether personal or professional.
Grab yourself a snack and get nestled by the fire (unless you're in Cali or Oz, in which case, we envy you) – it's walking-down-memory-lane o'clock.

My favorite moment of 2016 was marrying my best friend 💕... cue the sappy music. [Ed note: we would never.]

Some of my warmest and happiest memories of 2016 come from island hopping through the Greek Islands with 4 of my best girlfriends. I was living a dream, eating olives & Greek yogurt every single day!

As someone who spends most of their time up north, I’m always happy to get away to sunny southern spots. My favorite moment from this past year was while on vacation with 6 friends in Palm Springs. The breezes were warm, the palm trees were lit, and we got to see Sia perform live (with Maddie Ziegler!!). Magic✨
Mariana Rittenhouse, Director of Brand Strategy
2016 has been such a whirlwind, but I will say the best and most bittersweet part was moving from Brooklyn, my home for ten years, to Miami for some sun and to be closer to my family. I’m definitely not missing the snow these days!
Laura Park, Brand Strategist
2016 was a big year both professionally and personally. Two of my favorite moments: handing in the last exam of my MBA, and being proposed to on a beautiful Nova Scotia hiking adventure!

Living la bella vita in southern Italy had to be my most memorable moment of 2016. Exploring stunning locales like Positano and Capri with one of my best travel pals Laura (who has a penchant for fashion and photography like me) made for many Insta-worthy memories.

Just over one year after we closed our first deal, sitting at the back of the room during our partnership event with our customer Conde Nast. A total observer. I reflected not only on how far we had come in such a short time, but also how little I had contributed to this particular project. As a founder, in the earliest days you feel like you are giving CPR to a stone. Now, Dash Hudson is a living, breathing thing, with a team of wonderful, intelligent people who just make things like this happen. A big moment in a year full of them.
Tomasz Niewiarowski, Co-Founder and CTO
My favorite part of the year was the time when my dad came to Canada to visit me. It was the first time anyone from Poland came in 5 years.
And as for me, the Senior Editor at Dash Hudson, one of my most noteworthy moments of the year was taking in Iceland with the mister. Believe it or not, I was reluctant to go there to begin with, very much apprehensive of what sounded like a far too outdoorsy proposition for this city girl. It's hard to find the right words to describe the epic extent of this country. The photos will never do it justice. I was blown away, and then some.
We'd love to get to know you better and hear your favorite moments of the year, too. Drop me a line, tweet at us, or leave a comment below.
In the meantime, we hope you're resting and recharging for the new year. We certainly are, just getting ready to light more fires for all of you in 2017. 😘
